Job Description

Safe Harbor Marinas, the nation's largest marina owner and operator, is currently seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our growing team at our Safe Harbor Belle Maer Harbor Marina on beautiful Lake St.Clair.

We are looking for a smiling, energetic candidate who will be responsible to serve marina customers by performing the following duties:  

Job Duties:

  • Developing and maintaining effective, friendly working relationships with staff, members, guests and dealing with conflict effectively, courteously, and tactfully
  • Responding to member questions and needs via phone, email and in person
  • Providing excellent information and service to prospective new members
  • Dealing with conflict effectively, courteously, and tactfully
  • Accepting and reconciling daily cash, credit and check payments, and following up with past due balances
  • Routine administrative tasks (data entry, filing, etc) and special research projects as needed
  • Some Saturdays required during peak months

Job Requirements:

  • Strong customer service orientation and a "Can- do" attitude
  • Excellent accountability, productivity and accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable on the computer with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to reach, stand, kneel, and bend
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Operate general office equipment
