Job Description

Walden Marina on Lake Conroe, a member of the Safe Harbor Marinas, the world's largest owner and operator of marinas, is seeking a personable, outgoing person for a part-time Office Administrator to join our growing team!

Job Duties:

  • Answer, screen and direct incoming calls, relaying messages as needed
  • Greet all visitors, members and guests
  • Receive and document payments, collect, coutn, and disburse money, reconcile day end transactions, review and code payables for processing
  • Draft correspondence as needed, prepare mailings, create presentations, general office upkeep, maintain inventory, organize and order materials, supplies, and services
  • Light housekeeping within office and restrooms, cleaning of counters, mirrors, tables and desks, mopping, vacuuming
  • Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities, as well as complete and mail bills, contracts, policies invoices or checks
  • Answer basic questions regarding the marina
  • Ability to operate basic office machines such as photocopiers, scanners, facsimile machines, voicemail systems and computers

Job Requirements:

  • Bookkeeping, AR/AP skills, timely accomplishment of tasks and duties, office equpiment handling

  • Communications skiils, positive attitude, available weekend and holidays
  • 1-2 years previous office/administrative experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work under any weather conditions
  • Ability to swim
