Job Description

Safe Harbor Marinas, the nation’s largest owner and operator of marinas has an immediate opening for a part time Office Administrator at their Walden Marina in Montgomery, TX.

Job Duties

  • Answer, screen and direct incoming calls and relaying messages as needed
  • Greet all visitors, members and guests
  • Receive and document payments
  • Answer general questions regarding the marina
  • Operate office machines such as photocopiers, scanners, facsimile machines, and computers
  • Reconcile day-end transactions and handle cash
  • Draft correspondence as needed
  • Process maintenance work orders
  • Ensure all contractors and/or vendors sign in and out with documenting the type of service and the location of the dock or slip being worked on
  • Maintain general office upkeep
  • Process and mail bills, contracts, policies, invoices or checks
  • Maintain filing, inventory, mailing and database systems
  • Open, sort and route all incoming and outgoing mail
  • Process, proofread and prepare documents and reports
  • Prepare meeting agendas and transcribe meeting



Job Requirements

  • Bookkeeping and AR/AP skills
  • Show dependability
  • Accomplish tasks and duties in a timely matter
  • Daily handling of office equipment
  • Ability to type and multitask
  • Must be self motivated and display a high level of punctuality
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 50Ibs
  • Working under a variety of weather conditions and ability to swim


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience as an Office Administrator preferred
  • Possess and excellent attitude and have an eagerness to help other
  • Dedication and working well in a team based environment
