Job Description

Safe Harbor Marinas, the nation’s largest owner and operator of marinas, has an opening for full time general labor workers at their Toledo Beach Marina location. The general labor worker will be responsible for performing ongoing general marina maintenance, as well as routine maintenance of all landscaping equipment.

Job type: Full Time with competitive benefits package available

Job Duties

  • Responsible for mowing the entire property
  • Grounds maintenance and marina cleanliness
  • Keep up maintenance and appearance for all roads and the parking lot
  • General maintenance across the property as it is needed
  • Customer Service

 

Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Utility of independent judgment in performing all tasks
  • Mow, edge, water, weed, fertilize, cultivate lawns, flowerbeds and other landscaping areas
  • Perform heavy physical labor
  • Operate a variety of power and hand tools, as well as light motorized equipment
  • Demonstrate safe work habits and observe all applicable workers safety practices, including the use of required personal protective equipment
  •  Ability to work weekends and holidays
  •  Team player
  • Detail Oriented
  • Some marina knowledge is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors in sever weather environment with changing conditions and temperatures; year round
  • Drive and operate motorized equipment
  • Exposure to working around loud noises and heavy machinery
  • Must be bale to lift upt to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 year's experience preferred
