Job Description

Safe Harbor Marinas, the world's largest owner and operator of marinas in the world, is seeking an experienced Risk Analyst to join our rapidly growing team.

The Risk Analyst would be responsible for such duties as:

  • Design and implement processes to track claims,monitor reserves and warehouse data.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
  • Assist with allocation of insurance premiums and deductibles across departments and company locations.
  • Conduct preliminary investigations of incidents at company locations to determine severity and assess potential impact on Safe Harbor Marinas.
  • Coordinate with adjusters and brokers to update risk management dashboards and schedule new acquisitions.
  • Maintain and enforce company policies with respect to minimum insurance requirements, lease procedures and environmental and safety programs.
  • Collate and analyze responses to RFP's and bid solicitations for presentation to management.
  • Data collection across company locations.
  • Attend quarterly EHS Committee meetings and support committee operation.
  • Assemble presentations for senior company Management and the Board of Directors.
  • General projects including date gathering and database management.
  • Occasional travel.
  • Weekends and overtime may be required as necessary.

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Strong grasp of basic accounting principles.
  • Ability to mine date and identify patterns.
  • Ability to read and understand complex legal documents and insurance policies.
  • Solid clerical and organizational skills (attention to detail is critical)
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (emphasis on Microsoft Excel)
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Successful candidate will be a self-starter with an outgoing personality.
  • 305 years' previous experience as a Risk Analyst.
