Job Description

Safe Harbor Marinas, the nation's largest marina owner and operator, is currently seeking a part time Customer Service Representative to join our growing team at our Emeryville Isle Marina.  

Summary: The CSR is responsible to serve marina customers, guests, and maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the marina by performing the following duties.

Job Duties:

  • Developing and maintaining effetive, friendly working relationship with staff, members, guests and dealing with conflict effectively, courteously, and tactfully
  • Responding to member questions and needs via phone, email and in person
  • Providing excellent information and service to prospective new members
  • Accepting and reconciling daily cash, credit and check payments, and following up with past due balances
  • Routine administrative tasks and special research projects as needed

Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to work weekends regularly
  • Strong customer service orientation and "Happy to help" attitude
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent accountability, productivity and accuracy
  • Strong reasoning and problem solving ability
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communcation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as general office equipment
  • Boating/Marina experience or related experience in hospitality, recreation, parks or tourism but not required

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to reach, stand, kneel, and bend
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
