Job Description

As part of the Safe Harbor Marinas, the world's largest owner and operator, Marina Bay on Boston Harbor Marina, located in Quincy, MA is seeking a Full-Time Marina Yard Assistant to join our growing team. We offer a new service shop, a fully paved boat lot and a clean working environment with great people!

We are looking for a self motivated, hard working individual who is a team player and has a eagerness to learn. Experience as a Marina Yard Assistant is a plus, but are willing to provide training for the right candidate. 

Job type: Full-Time with room for advancement and training. A gracious benefits package is offered along with competitive compensation. 

Job Duties:

  • Assist in day-to-day operations of the yard crew
  • Help with all hauling and launching of customer boats
  • Maintain a clean and organized yard
  • Work with other team members for any pressure washing or bottom painting as needed
  • Provide top level customer service to marina members



Job Requirements:

  • Must be punctual and hard working
  • Must be able to work as a team, as well as independently 
  • 1-2 years experience as a Marina Yard Assistant is a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in any weather condition
  • Being able to swim is a must
  • Able to lift up to 50 Ibs
